ADGA Nigerian Dwarf Goats

Our healthy, happy goats give us love and delicious milk, help to clear out invasive plant species, and provide fertilizer and compost. We breed and sell registered Nigerian Dwarfs, and also have a registered buck available for stud services. Click the "Learn More" button above for information regarding these sales and services.

Indian Runner Ducks

These lovely, fowl friends are such a joy to share life with. They eat slugs and bugs in the garden (but watch out! They'll eat the garden, too!), they quack all day long, they are working to help us "gley in" our ponds, and they give us really big, yummy eggs in the spring and summer. We sell duck eggs by the half-dozen when we have an abundance.

Chickens

Chickens can do so much work, and they love it! We move their pasture about the farm so they can follow around our horse and other critters to scratch and spread manure, eat bugs, and even prepare the garden for planting! In return, they provide delicious eggs and (sometimes) meat. We sell eggs in spring, summer and fall.

Livestock Guardians

Our two Anatolian Shepherd/Maremma crosses are sisters and are the most amazing dogs! We needed to protect our tastier critters from predators and they are learning to do a wonderful job. They are also excellent at guarding the trees, children, rocks, and butterflies. We will be gauging interest to decide whether we will breed and sell puppies in the future.

American Guinea Hogs

Coming summer 2020! This is the original American homestead breed of hog. They will provide companionship, develop our silvipasture (that's a pasture in a forest, folks!), and also give us lots of pork. We are participating in the preservation of this heritage breed, and are so excited to add these cuties to our farm.

Scarlett

Our fine lady Scarlett gets an honorable mention. She contributes that fantastic horse aroma that all horse lovers know, warm nuzzles and companionship, while also helping to mow the grass and make compost. She is teaching our kids to ride, learning how to drive and may help move a log or two in the future. Did we mention that she gives great kisses?
